Douglas Basford, formerly defiantly carless in Baltimore, is now baffledly truckful in Buffalo, where he teaches at SUNY-Buffalo. He co-edits the online journal Unsplendid and his work appears in Poetry, Ambit, Western Humanities Review, Anti-, The Texas Review, and other places.

Alessandra Bava was born in Rome. She holds an MA in American Literature and manages her own translation agency. She is currently writing the biography of a contemporary American poet. Her first poetry chapbook is due for publication in 2012.
