I employ a traditional writing form which I credit my mother for instilling in me from a very young age. She wrote poetry, and in my younger years I thought poets and poetry too pretentious for me. Yet, those seeds were planted and it has taken a lifetime of experiences for them to germinate.

Hedman, Angela
Angela Hedman is an artist, poet, and high school art educator who resides in Indiana with her husband, kids, and geriatric dog. She holds a BFA in Metalsmithing, a BS in Art Education, and a MA in Metals. All degrees were earned from Ball State University. Her artwork has been exhibited both locally and nationally, and has been published in the 2018 Spring issue of The Broken Plate. Her poetry can be found in Ink to Paper (volume 2), the Poetry Society of Indian's 2017 anthology.
